stop starting from zero every time you open AN A.I. Chat

# Welcome to CRAFT

Turn Claude Cowork into a working partner that remembers.

CRAFT turns Claude Cowork from a smart assistant that forgets into a working partner that remembers.

Stop rebuilding your AI work every session

CRAFT for Claude Cowork is a framework that gives recurring AI work the structure of production systems — so the work you did last Tuesday is still there next Tuesday.

The problem with how AI work usually goes

You sit down to do real work with Claude. An hour later, you have something that works. Two weeks later, you need to do the same kind of work again — and you’re starting from scratch.

  • Every session starts at zero. Last week’s setup, last week’s decisions, last week’s context — gone.
  • Your best prompts live in chat history you’ll never find again.
  • Each new project means re-explaining who you are, what you’re building, and how you want it done.
  • Quality drifts session-to-session because there’s no shared standard the next conversation can reach for.
  • Complex work breaks into disconnected pieces — insights fragment instead of compounding.

This isn’t a Claude problem. It’s the absence of a layer between you and Claude that holds the work together over time.

That layer is what CRAFT for Claude Cowork provides.

Three things CRAFT for Claude Cowork gives you

The framework rests on three pillars. Every recipe, every cookbook, every project respects all three.

Repeatable

Your best prompts become recipes you can run again with consistent results — not lucky one-offs you can’t reproduce.

Portable

Recipes, cookbooks, and projects are plain Markdown files you download as a signed release. Get it once, run it anywhere Claude Cowork does.

Auditable

Every recipe is text you can read. Every release is versioned and signed. You can see exactly what Claude was asked — and trace any output back to the prompt that produced it.

How it works

CRAFT is a framework, not software. There is nothing to install. The whole framework is structured Markdown files you download as a signed release — unzip it, point Claude Cowork at the folder, and start.

  1. Download the release. One file. Unzip it and the full framework lands on your machine: recipes, cookbooks, ingredients, instructions for Claude.
  2. Open a Cowork project. Point Claude at the unzipped folder. Claude reads the instructions and orients itself to how CRAFT works.
  3. Run a recipe. Ask for a recipe by name — Claude executes it the way the recipe says to. Your work follows the structure the framework provides.
1Download the release .zip and unzip it.
2Open the folder in Claude Cowork.
3Say: “Initialize a CRAFT session.”

No login. No paywall. No email gate. Just download and open. Get the latest release →

What’s in the framework

The CRAFT framework is organized hierarchically. Each layer builds on the one below.

  • Recipes — individual prompts that produce a specific output reliably. The atomic unit of CRAFT.
  • Cookbooks — named collections of related recipes. Group what belongs together; find what you need fast.
  • Ingredients — personas, profiles, and reference libraries that recipes can reach for. Persistent context, not retyped every session.
  • Projects — the workspace for sustained, multi-session work. Holds the cookbooks, recipes, ingredients, history, and context for one initiative.
  • The Builder’s Notebook — commentary, lessons, and worked examples from the person building the framework.

Join the Beta. Shape what CRAFT for Claude Cowork becomes.

CRAFT for Claude Cowork is in free public beta through September 1, 2026. Signing up now makes you a Founding Chef — recognition for showing up early, and a way to put your feedback in the loop while the framework is still being shaped.

The framework is free for everyone during the Beta. Download the current release and start running recipes in your own projects within the hour — all current recipes, all current cookbooks, every update to the public version. You don’t have to sign up to use it.

Your feedback reaches the builder directly. CRAFT for Claude Cowork is built by one person — a senior cybersecurity incident responder who builds it the same way he runs production systems: structured playbooks, documented decisions, outcomes you can trace. During the Beta, the feedback you send through the site reaches the builder directly, and what you tell us — what’s working, what’s confusing, what’s missing — feeds real decisions about what gets built next.

We’re still working out exactly what being a Founding Chef will include over time. There will be benefits for early supporters — but we’d rather get that right than promise specifics we haven’t fully thought through. What we can honestly say today: the Beta is free for everyone, signing up marks you as a Founding Chef, and your feedback genuinely shapes what gets built.

September 1 is a real capacity constraint, not a marketing deadline. One person builds CRAFT for Claude Cowork, and the Beta window is sized to that. When it closes, the framework keeps working and stays free to download — the Founding Chef sign-up window is what closes.

Become a Founding Chef

CRAFT for Claude Cowork is in free public beta. Until September 1, 2026, anyone joining gets Founding Chef recognition — and a seat at the table while the framework is still being shaped.

After September 1, the framework continues — it stays free to download. What closes is the Founding Chef sign-up window: the window where signing up records your founding status and puts your feedback in the loop. That window is sized to one solo developer’s bandwidth, which is why it has to close.
